On Friday 17th June, I attended a brilliantly delivered and very informative lecture by Professor Gwendolyn Jull, http://researchers.uq.edu.au/researcher/7582, on the role of neck muscle dysfunction in headaches.
Gwen told us that there is evidence that strengthening up your neck muscles may be beneficial in reducing headaches. I've posted a link to a youTube video here to show you some great deep neck flexor strengthening exercises (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXrGKvCqynY).
Here at Brookwood Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic, we would be happy to show you a specific strengthening program for your neck and upper body to help you out.
