Here in Brookwood Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic, we offer private one-on-one, small group mat work classes and online classes which are taught via Zoom. All of our Pilates classes are taught by a Chartered Physiotherapist who is also a fully qualified Pilates Instructor.
Prior to commencing any classes with us, you will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire. This helps us focus our class for your particular needs. We can also modify our Pilates exercises to meet the needs of each individual within the class setting. This ensures that a safe and pain free environment is maintained for all.
We have a number of Pilates equipment in the clinic, such as gym balls, arc barrels, foam rollers, weighted toning balls, therabands and fitness circles, all of which can be used to assist clients to complete the exercises successfully or challenge clients to work harder.
We have a maximum of six clients per class, this allows the instructor to efficiently monitor each individuals performance within the class and correct individuals without losing the momentum of the class. We run courses on a regular basis, which may run from 6 to 7 to 8 weeks long.
If you are interested in Pilates, please do not hesitate to contact Deirdre directly at Brookwood Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic.
Policy on Missed Pilates Classes
It is hoped that clients will attend all their Pilates classes in their allocated class. However, it is understood that occasionally this may not be possible. Missed classes can be made-up by attending an online class instead. Make up classes are valid within the current course only. Classes are not transferable. Your co-operation in attending your own classes is greatly appreciated.
